Committee Meeting

Dr Julian Ng, Vice President of Warnborough University (IARC member), attended a recent committee meeting on the Gold Coast (Australia) where it was decided to conduct an IARC Symposium/Conference next year.

A venue has been selected and details are expected to be finalized early in the new year for a date in June or July.

It is hoped this event will provide a significant opportunity for networking and business between members and others from the global education industry. Plan to be there

FREE PR –LIST YOUR COURSES

The IARC Web Site allows all member (recognised) institutions to list and promote courses for free. You are given access codes on request, and it is up to you to add and maintain records of courses you offer.

Some institutions are making good use of this facility, but not all.

The web site is getting increased traffic, so this can be valuable FREE ADVERTISING for you.

AUSTRALIAN CORRESPONDENCE SCHOOLS

CHINESE CORRESPONDENCE SCHOOLS DELEGATION VISITS

A delegation of 12 senior staff from the Chinese Correspondence School this month visited ACS in Australia . This school is the largest distance education school in the world with tens of millions of students. The Chinese school has been showing interest in establishing a relationship with ACS for more than a year, and it is hoped this visit will be the first step to a long and mutually beneficial affiliation.
